Three People Blown Up by Mine in Aghdam, One Killed
Baku / 14.12.20 / Turan: On December 13, at 17:00, one serviceman and two civilians were blown up by a mine in the Aghdam region. One of them - a resident of the Aghdam region Elchin Mammadov (1990), died. Two others, Togrul Ahmedov (1984) and an unnamed serviceman, were seriously injured. The incident took place on the territory of the village of Shahbulag in the Aghdam region, according to the report of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan.
The Prosecutor General's Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan once again warn the population about the continuing mine threat in the territories liberated from the occupation, and urge them not to visit these territories without appropriate permission, and until these territories are cleared of explosives. -02D-

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
