Toxicological Poisoning Becomes Less
In 2016 the Clinical Medical Center’s Toxicology Department received 2,234 complaints of poisoning. This is less than in 2015 (2,462), according to the Health Ministry press service.
Last year, 32.8% of the poisoning cases happened due to improper medication use. In 21% the cause of poisoning was carbon monoxide and other toxic gases. In 14.1% the poisoning occurred from flammable materials. -36D-
