No significant changes are expected in the weather in the Absheron peninsular from November 20 to 22. Due to meteorological factors, the weather will be favourable for people with health issues.
According to the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, on November 20 in Baku and Absheron peninsula the weather will be drizzly in some parts, with a northeast wind. Air temperature at night will be 8 - 11, in the daytime 12-15 degrees.
In some places, it will be foggy; rain is expected mainly in the southern regions. Temperature at night will be 6-11, during daytime 12-16 degrees; in the mountains at night - 0-3, and 4 – 8 degrees during daytime. -03D-

During search and operational activities, on January 30 at 11:20, 16.4 kg of drugs were discovered and seized in the area of the "Geytapa" border post, located on the Iran-Azerbaijan border. According to the Azerbaijan Border Service, this prevented an attempt to smuggle into Azerbaijan 11.3 kg of marijuana, 5.1 kg of opium, and 1,990 methadone M-40 pills from Iran.
