On March 14 Interior Ministry reported the brutal murder of Mir Tahir Talybov in the “Icheri Sheher” (Inner city.) Unofficial sources reported that Talibov’s head was cut off, and on his body were nine stab wounds. The reasons for the brutal murder is unknown. Unofficial sources reported that while he was a visitor to the Salafi mosque in the “Icheri Sheher”, where he invited also Shiites. Some time later, he stopped going to the mosque.
In this regard, some observers do not rule out that a series of arrests of Salafists in recent days, is possibly due to the murder of Talybov.
A resident of Lerik region, Talybov, lived in the basement of a house owned by a well-known and respected in the past healer Mirvosum Aga. For many years this apartment is used as a place of worship of believers and seekers of healing. -05B-
