Famous Actor Yashar Nuri Dies
Actor Yashar Nuri passed away on November 22 at the age of 60. He suffered a lengthy, serious illness and underwent treatment abroad.
Yashar Nuri graduated from the Azerbaijan Institute of Arts. As a student, he played several roles in a number of productions and films. Since 1974, he worked in the company of the Azerbaijan Drama Theater. The actor starred in dozens of films and television shows.
Among his most famous roles were 'When Roads Meet', 'Path of Life', 'House of Sideways', 'Tune Piano', and 'On the Train', among others. The actor played memorable roles in the acclaimed 'Kidnapping the Bridegroom' and 'Bastard' movies.
Yashar Nuri was rightly considered one of the best comedians of the country, although he also played a number of dramatic roles. -02B-
