On Saturday at the Museum of Modern Art opened an exhibition of the famous painter Museyib Amirov. The artist presented a series of new works written especially for this exhibition: 13 paintings and a series of small works (more than 20 graphic works and etchings.) The artist painted them a few months, and the exhibition has become a kind of creative report of Museyib before his admirers. The subject of pictures painted in the style of the industrial landscape is the current realities of the world, urbanization, state industrial metropolis, overpopulation, conflicts, and so forth. Beaches full of people, smoked pipes of plants and traffic jams. All this is painfully familiar landscapes that have become "native" to the citizens. The artist in his usual manner gave all these sensations. To the question if he was satisfied with his work, Museib philosophically replied: "If an artist is satisfied, it means that he died as an artist. There must always remain the desire to do more, different, better. By my works I just wanted to tell people to look around, seeing where and why they go, " says the artist.
Museib Amirov did not disappoint the expectations of fans of modern painting. His personal exhibition, which will last 25 days is definitely an event in the arts.
Presumably, there are enough fans of painting, who will soon buy Museyib’s works for their collection. Although, it should be recognized, that his works cost too much. According to the pricelist, graphic works cost from 300 to 1000 manat. Paintings begin from 3,000 manat to 18,000 manat. -02В-
