Presidents of Azerbaijan and France participate in the opening of new halls of Louvre
C the presidents of France and Azerbaijan - Francois Oland and Ilham Aliyev, in the Paris Louvre Museum Opening of new halls dedicated to Islamic art took place on Tuesday with participation of the presidents of France and Azerbaijan, Francois Oland and Ilham Aliyev, in the Paris Louvre Museum.
According to Olande, the official Paris is proud with the establishment of the Department of Islamic Art in the Louvre museum.
He said that the main objective of this project which emerged as an idea in 2003 and the implementation was initiated in 2008, is to demonstrate the versatility and universal value of the Louvre, and the attitude of France to the Islamic civilization.
Oland expressed gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan and other partners for the support in this project, according to AzerTaj.
In "Islamic Art" are presented works of architecture, painting, and other cultural creative activity of various Muslim countries.
Over 5000 whole works of art, including the manufacture of glass, ceramics and metal various pottery items, carpets, clothes and miniatures, as well as over a thousand unfinished and damaged creative works, are displayed. Azerbaijan, along with France, Kuwait, Oman and Morocco held in creation the museum. –06D--

Ahmet Güneştekin answered questions from Turan Information Agency a few days after the opening of his solo exhibition, Lost Alphabet, held in the 8,000-square-meter indoor halls of the Feshane Cultural Center, managed by the Istanbul Municipality. The exhibition, inaugurated by Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, will remain open until July 20.
