The Week of the Italian cuisine in Baku
The Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World will take place from 21 to 27 November in 105 Countries around the world, including Azerbaijan, with 1,300 events dedicated to Italian cuisine and the excellence of Italian food and wine, reads a press release from the Italian Embassy to Azerbaijan.
Great chefs and sommeliers will become Italian Ambassadors of Taste, driven by the awareness that “cookery is culture”. The Week of Italian Cuisine will be repeated every year, as a cornerstone of the integrated promotion of Brand Italy (“Sistema Italia”).
In this context the Embassy of Italy to Baku, in cooperation with its sponsors and Italian Restaurants Scalini, Oro Nero Marriott, Da Massimo, Baccanale, will organize a week of food and wine tastings: “Sicily in Baku Night”, “Sicilian Taste Night”, “Mi-To (Milan-Turin) Night”, “Italian Night happy hour” and “Michelin Chef Star in Baku”. For those interested in attending, special promotional fees will be charged for any of the above-mentioned events, reads the press release. -02D-

Ahmet Güneştekin answered questions from Turan Information Agency a few days after the opening of his solo exhibition, Lost Alphabet, held in the 8,000-square-meter indoor halls of the Feshane Cultural Center, managed by the Istanbul Municipality. The exhibition, inaugurated by Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, will remain open until July 20.
