2012 proved unprofitable to the Baku branch of Bank Melli Iran
Assets of the Baku branch of Bank Melli Iran fell in 2012 by 3.2% to 71.41 million manat. The volume of issued and corporations loans fell by 4.6% to $ 8.29 mln.
The total liabilities of the bank decreased from 51.84 million to 48.54 million manat. Deposit portfolio decreased by 27.3% to 2.02 million manat.
Balance capital grew by 4.6% to over 22.86 million manat, and the total capital - 0.9% to 22.09 million manat. Paid authorized capital remained at 22.41 million manat.
Bank's earnings were equal to 2.28 million manat, decreased in comparison with 2011 by 23%, while expenses increased by 17.4% to 2.67 million manat. At the end of the four quarters of last year, the bank received a loss of 386 thousand manats. - 15B -
