About Virtual Declaration of International Mail
International mail from next year will be declared virtual. The transition to the electronic version of the applications has been announced on the website of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan.
In 2016 the pilot project will start, such as similar projects in Canada, Slovakia and Belarus. Their success has prompted local communicators to use them as a positive example, and over the next year this project might be used for commercial purposes, the information says.
According to authorities, the project will speed up the processing and customs control of international mail, as well as provide an opportunity to advance calculation of customs duties and taxes. --17D-
