Auditors are not in a hurry to license renewal
Members of the Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan (CAA) are not in a hurry to the extension of the license for professional activities.
According to the official website of the organization for the last certification (first step) there were announced six people, and two of them passed - Nargis Kerimova and Samad Iskenderov. Both the applicant for renewal of an independent auditor scored 82 points out of a possible 100. The other four decided to wait.
These applicants with Naib Yusifov passed the second stage of evaluation, with 8 out of 10 points.
The plans of CAA this year include not only exams, courses and travel, but also check-in and audit in companies - members of the organization and at 15 independent auditors.
As head of the CAA regulation and transparency of audit department Maarif Abbasov told Turan, routine checks (an average of one per month) will be held in audit firms such as Premium Audit, Forum, Inter Audit, Caspian Consulting, Alfa-Audit, and Caspian Business Consultants. Besides them, checks will be undergone by Moore Stephens Azerbaijan Limited, Tax, Audit & Consulting Service, RM Audit, KPMG Azerbaijan Limited, etc.
The CAA has operated since 1996 and regulates auditing in Azerbaijan.
Currently, the right to work in Azerbaijan belongs to 53 organizations, 44 independent auditors and 28 associate members. - 17D-
