AZAL Completed Tourist Season
State Air JSC Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has finished its season flights to the tourist centers in Turkey. Today, the company released data on the number of passengers, who used AZAL services on the routes Baku - Antalya and Baku - Bodrum since the second half of June.
On board the aircraft Boeing-757 and Boeing-767, capable of servicing 180 and 198 passengers at a time, AZAL safely delivered 10,000 passengers to the Bodrum airport and 12,000 to Antalya.
AZAL aircraft land at 31 airports worldwide.
According to the State Statistics Committee, in the first half of 2012 the domestic flights carried 207.1 thousand passengers, the CIS flights carried 10,000 passengers and international airlines carried 468.4 thousand passengers. The share of AZAL is 98.5% of the passenger traffic. - 08B-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
