AZERBAIJAN HELPS RESTORE ELECTRICITY SUPPLIES IN GEORGIA
    BAKU/30.08.10/TURAN: Georgia"s electricity supply managers recognized on Rustavi-2 TV that the electricity supplies in many regions of their country that stopped on August 27 were restored, owing to the electricity supplied by Azerbaijan. The August 27 stoppage resulted from a cable line accident in Central Georgia. Tbilisi was short of electricity for three hours. -0--
     * The former Premier of Armenia, Grant Bagratyan, applied to the court on behalf of several gas consumers. He complained about the government"s decision to increase the gas tariff for the population to 132,000 drams ($330) per 1,000 m3 from April 1, 2010 on.
