Azerbaijan Increased Imports of Mineral Fuel Twofold
In 2014, imports of petroleum products and electricity into Azerbaijan amounted to $ 297.9 million. This is more than two times higher than in the previous year, according to the State Customs Committee.
Due to a technical upgrade of its refineries, Azerbaijan since 2013 began to import high-octane gasoline. There are no data on the volume of its imports in annual terms. For the first nine months of 2014 purchased abroad were 182.9 tons of gasoline, including 64,820 tons of Premium brand sold in Azerbaijan and 504 tons of Super.
In just three quarters of 2014 gasoline imports amounted to $ 204.4 million. The export of gasoline (11,760 tons) for the period totaled $ 9,954 600. ----08B
