Azercell Supported the Project Baku TechTalks
Local mobile operator and provider of mobile Internet company Azercell Telecom supported another youth project.
The planned discussions were innovations in information technology and the exchange of experiences between young people. Assistance provided under the project innovation center Barama (Cocoon) and Baku Google Developers Group Baku TechTalks, aimed at sharing experiences between mobile programmers.
The main goal of the program Baku TechTalks is to convey to young people interesting and useful information in the field of information technology. Note that the project has conducted 2 events - on Mobile App Talks on August 4 and on Startup Talks on September 2. At these events there were presentations by experts in the field of business information and communication technologies. The next event was held at the weekend - on September 9. This time, the project participants held discussions on the topic Web Talks.
Known experts in the field and members of the IT department of Azercell shared with young programmers their experience in the field of new technologies. The event programmer Adil Adiev made a presentation on HTTP, web server, and CGI. In addition, thoughts on the programming language Ruby (ROR) were shared by the programmer Elvin Efendiyev, and ideas of Cloud technologies were shared by Turan Rustamli.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
