Azersigorta intends to back the leadership in the insurance market
Insurance company Azersigorta only on compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners (CTP) is planning to collect 10 million manat in 2013 (from April to December 2012, it collected 6.73 million). Such intentions are associated with a desire to return the leadership position in the local market (the "Eternal Champion" became only the fourth last year, behind Pasha Sigorta, AzSigorta and Ateshgah).
According to the official representative of the financial agency, the decline is relative, for there was fixed absolute growth in the indicators - the collection of premiums by 32% and payments - by 6.2%.
In contrast to the market as a whole, the voluntary premiums are significantly behind the mandatory premiums - ratio 3.98 million against 30.59 million manat.
The insurance company Azersigorta was created in 1991. Its offices and affiliates are located in 79 districts.
The last four years due to a monopoly on specific mandatory insurance is the permanent leader for premiums and benefits.
It is a member of the Bureau of Compulsory Insurance. The authorized capital of the company is unchanged - AZN 4.5 mln.
At the end of the year its premiums were at 34,562,100 manats, and payments - 11,771,900 manats. - 17D-
