Bakcell Obtains More Subscribers
Through Transfer services to the mobile numbers Bakcell has been joined by more subscribers than the other two operators together.
According to the official press release, more than 62% of all subscribers who have decided to change their mobile operator using the services of transferring mobile numbers (Mobile Number Portability - MNP), have joined the network Bakcell. According to the Data Processing Center (DPC) of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT), the number of people using the services of MNP, to date, is more than 12 000. The company Bakcell notes that 7,500 out of the total number of such customers moved their number to the network Bakcell.
Requests from subscribers of other operators wishing to transfer their number to the network Bakcell, are successfully treated since 1 February 2014. In order to implement the transfer of their numbers, subscribers of other mobile operators can contact the service centers of Bakcell.
Bakcell is also pleased to report that during 2014 the company showed the largest increase in the number of active mobile phone users among the three operators. Data obtained from the systems Interconnect show that the active subscriber base of Bakcell increased by 6.6% compared with 0.4% and 4% for the two other operators, respectively.
"Subscribers once again demonstrate that Bakcell provides customers with the best combination of price and quality. During 2014, the number of subscribers using our mobile voice services is growing faster than at our competitors. This was made possible as a result of joining new customers, and the loyalty of our existing customers. Subscribers are acutely aware of the lucrative offers from Bakcell and the excellent level of services we offer," said the executive director of Bakcell, Richard Shearer. --17D-
