Baku exhibition at sports and youth organizations starts tomorrow
Tomorrow the Baku Expo Center will host an exhibition of Azerbaijan I "Sports, sports equipment and clothing," and IV Republican exhibition of youth organizations. SportExpo Azerbaijan held in the year 2012 and the sport has gathered on the platform 50 participants.
Today the organizers of the exhibitions, which are actively supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, held a press conference, at which they announced all ready for the show.
The Executive Director of the exhibition company ITE Group Plc. Edward Strachan said that exhibitions are held amid the government's growing focus on the development of sports and support youth initiatives. Exposure by youth organizations is sponsored by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Manager of SportExpo Orkhan Akhmedov said that the exhibition is attended by sports federations and clubs, manufacturers of sportswear and structures.
The youth event will bring together 100 youth organizations. The event is part of the State Program "Azerbaijani Youth - 2011-2015." The main objective of the exhibition is to inform the public about the activities of youth organizations, their projects and activities. At the press conference also spoke the head of department on work with youth organizations of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Fuad Babayev. According to him, the first 11 months of this year, the ministry funded 120 projects worth more than 3 million manat on various areas of youth organizations. In addition, the Ministry's Youth Foundation has granted more than 200 grants of 2 million AZN.
At the press conference they noted that the exhibitions planned workshops and master classes for young people speaking skills, basic business, business correspondences, choice of specialty, and the rights of consumers, taxpayers' rights, etc.

In Azerbaijan, the government has increasingly relied on tax exemptions for imported goods as a tool to stabilize domestic market prices. The exemption from the 18% VAT on wheat imports, extended this year, exemplifies this approach. New measures have also been introduced, including tax relief on imports of electric vehicle chargers, while exemptions for high-cost medications are currently under discussion. Notably, defense imports continue to be free from taxes and customs duties.
