Baku Subway Spends 199.2 Million AZN on Investment Projects
The Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan has published the final report (http://maliyye.gov.az/sites/default/files/2015%20hesabat.pdf) on the execution of the state budget for 2015. According to official data, in the form of government injections Baku Metro received 199.2 million AZN for the construction of a new subway line from the station Electric Depot through the stations Coach Station and Memar Ajami-2 to the conventional stations B3, B4 and B5, the construction of the branch Hazi Aslanov -Y18 - Yeni Guneshli and the third shift of the northern section of the metro.
The state also invested in the construction of the second exit of the Elmler Akademiyasi metro station, as well as the purchase of new subway cars and equipment.
Baku Subway was put into operation in 1967 and includes two lines and 24 stations. --17D-
