drug testing has been appointed for the youth activist Giyas Ibrahimov, one of the authors of the graffiti on the monument to Heydar Aliyev, wrote on his page on Facebook the lawyer Elchin Sadigov. The lawyer expressed surprise and regret that, instead of a forensic medical examination of torture in police over Ibrahimov, he was assigned drug testing to find out whether he is a drug user or not. The decision on the examination was made on 19 May.
* Ibrahimov and Bayram Mammadov are accused of large scale drug trafficking. However, they reject the accusation, and say that they were arrested in connection with those made of words "Congratulations on the slaves!" and "Down with the system!" to the monument to Heydar Aliyev. -03B-
