Baku to host Azerbaijani- Austrian business forum
During the visit to Azerbaijan of the Vice-President of the Federal Economic Chamber of Austria Richard Shents December 5 Baku will host a business forum with participation of businessmen of the two countries.
The fund export promotion and investment in Azerbaijan told Turan, that participation in the forum will bring together representatives of about 20 Austrian companies operating in various sectors of industry and construction, oil and gas, chemical and light industry , ICT, engineering, food processing machinery , logistics , ventilation systems, consulting , etc. Forum will be held in Baku Business Center.
According to the State Customs Committee, in the first nine months of 2013 the volume of exports from Azerbaijan to Austria increased in comparison with the comparable period last year from $ 69.1 million to $ 253.8 million. From Austria in the opposite direction was delivered goods worth $ 72.5 million that is 27.1% less than in the same period in 2012. - 08D-
