Bank of Baku Does Not Update Bolkart Card in Case of Debt
The owners of credit cards Bolkart offered by Bank of Baku are faced with new challenges.
In the case of availability of debt on the card, the bank refuses to renew expired cards.
Reporting this, one of the clients of the bank who requested anonymity said that did not happen before. At the client's words, earlier even if there was a debt on the card, when the time expired, it was possible to change them without any problems.
Note that being a product of Bank of Baku, the credit card Bolkart with recoverable limit of up to 3 years can be used to pay for goods and services of the bank partners – stores selling clothing, perfume, computers, mobile phones, home appliances and furniture as well as restaurants, supermarkets and other shopping sites.
Bank of Baku did not respond to the written request from Turan IA. The banking expert Akram Hasanov, commenting on the issue, suggested that this may be due to the fact that in general banks, given the depreciation of the manat, try not to lend in local currency. -----71B
