Beylagan - record on inflation
The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan published detailed information on the level of inflation, according to which in January-October, the highest rate of increase in consumer prices experienced people of Beylagan - 7.6 % with an average of 2.3%. It is noteworthy that in Baku rate of inflation (1.9 %) was lower than the national average.
While overall food prices grew at an annual rate of 2.2 %, and in Baku - 2.4 %, in the front-line and border Beylagan prices jumped by 9.5 %.
In October, a sharp jump in prices (5.1%) was observed in the family budget of the Masally residents. In this area, food prices rose over the month by 4.3 %, services - by 9.7 %.
According to the estimates of SSC, the highest increase in food prices (5.3%) in October was recorded in the Dashkesan area. In annual terms, the residents of this district spent money on food by 8.6 % more. It is noteworthy that the double-digit price rise in the annual rate of food in their budgets noticed people in Tovuz -11.2 % Khachmas - 10.5% , Barda - 11.8% , Sabirabad - 10.1% , Zardab - 10.4%, and Agsu areas - 11.4% and the city of Shirvan - 10.3%.
The "cushion" of deflation has helped residents only in Hajigabul (minus 0.3 %) and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (-0.1 %). It is noteworthy that officially NAR consumer prices remained unchanged or dropped off. In the Autonomy only the prices of services rose during the year (2 %).

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
