Budget of preferential pensioners in 2015 to more than double
In 2015, 60 thousand privileged pensioners (government officials, judges, prosecutors, other law enforcement agencies - about 60 thousand) on average will receive 791.67 manats a month. State only for that purpose, according to the program of pension reform until 2015, will allocate about 570 million manat. For comparison - in the budget for 2013 the year provided 262 million manats.
Speaking to reporters at the international conference on "Azerbaijan 2020: Looking to the future," Chairman of the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) Salim Muslimov, the concept of pension reform, to be developed by the government - a strategy document. SSPF is to become a full participant in the financial market in the long term, after which inevitably separation of financial flows through the pension system. If today the Fund's budget deficit, concept development will lead to the state fund that will earn money through multiple channels, including the greater honesty of employers hiding data on the number of employees and their salaries.
By 2015 and more than double the basic part of labor pensions Azerbaijani national heroes, the families of national heroes, members of families, veterans first Karabakh and World War II, disabled veterans and victims of political repression and subsequently rehabilitated citizens - for the next year would require about 49 million manat.
In addition, next year the basic pension invalids of the first group will increase by 20%, the visually impaired (also the first group) - 100%. This is 12.5 million manat.
As noted at the session of the Parliament of Azerbaijan, the forecasts of the transfer to the SSPF budget identified AZN 1 billion 77 million, the total budget deficit is expected to reach 2.63 billion manat.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
