Attracted financial advisor on the privatization of Azerboru
State Committee for Property Affairs announced a tender for selection of consultant for the privatization of state-owned shares in JSC Azerboru. Over 97% of the shares of this company were sold in 2004-2006 to British company Targol Limited, but the contract was canceled due to non-fulfillment of obligations.
The consultant should prepare a package of documents for the tender for the sale of investment shares and evaluate its financial and economic activities. GKVI need assistance to maintain or change the profile of the pipe business, the volume of investment, etc. The cost of participation in the tender is 1,000 manat. The applicants themselves determine the value of their services.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
