Business Delegation from Turkey Interested in Business Opportunities in Azerbaijan
From 25 to 30 August, a business delegation from the Turkish province of Konya visited Azerbaijan. It consisted of representatives of about 30 companies, which are interested in the possibility of establishing a business.
Yesterday the businessmen visited the Fund for Export and Investment in Azerbaijan (AZPROMO), where they obtained detailed information on the business opportunities in specific sectors. The Turkish businessmen are interested mainly in agriculture, ICT, construction, furniture and food industries, etc.

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less.
