Cost of Projects Tekfen in Azerbaijan Close to $ 2 Billion
After nearly five years after the commencement of construction the Turkish company Tekfen Insaat plans (in February 2015) to put into operation a new administrative building of SOCAR (the so-called SOCAR Tower).
According to the newspaper Hurriyet, referring to the words of the General Director of Tekfen Insaat Levent Kafkasly, in the final stage is not only the construction of the office, but also the Baku Olympic Stadium.
As previously reported, the 42-storey building SOCAR Tower with a total area of 5 hectares will cost the state at $ 235.4 million. It will have 5 meeting rooms, a fitness center and several dining rooms, able to simultaneously take 1,243 men, underground parking for 1,045 cars and surface parking for 240 cars. The building’s height will be 220 meters and the total area will be 100 sq. m.
The contract for the construction of the Olympic Stadium was $ 640.5 million. The stadium with the height of 60 meters will be fully covered. The capacity of the stadium will be 68,000 seats.
This is not the only project of Tekfen in Azerbaijan. Since 1996, it has implemented 14 projects plus 4 underway. The total cost of work performed on these 18 projects is $ 2 billion. --17D-
