EDM thinks about the priority of non-oil sector of the economy
Next year, growth in non-oil sectors of the economy will exceed 18%, said at the meeting of the Parliament of Azerbaijan's Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev.
According to him, it will be possible mainly due to the launch of new enterprises (until July 1, was put into operation more than 50 businesses and industrial sites). Next in line is the construction of 120 weaving and textile mills, paper processing units and the cardboard, plastic products, manufacture of electrical equipment, etc. The priority is the creation of enterprises in the regions of the country - until July 1, launched more than 170 new businesses, including low-power units to turn in about 450. All this makes the real expectations of the average non-oil economic growth at the level of 11 - 11.2% from 2014 to 2017.
Government hopes for ties to the chemical industry - next year it is expected to increase 66.4%, from 2014 to 2017 - an average of 18.7%. These measures will lead to an increase in the share of non-oil GDP in Azerbaijan (expected 70% or more).
According to the minister, this will impact on per capita income (expected annual average growth of 6.6%).
Mustafayev also touched on the price of oil, is laid in the state budget. If today it is rational to lay $ 100 a barrel, in the years 2014-17 it is likely to be $ 80.
Thus in 2013 the U.S. dollar rate per AZN will be unchanged (AZN 785 per 1 thousand dollars). The minister predicted the level of consumer inflation as 5.7%. - 17D-

In recent days, there have been claims that bread prices in Azerbaijan have risen. Social media users report that the price of bread has increased by 5-10 qepiks. According to consumer complaints, it is difficult to find weight information on factory-produced bread, commonly known as "zavod çörəyi" in Azerbaijan. In many cases, bread packaging does not include weight details. Similarly, bread sold at smaller bakeries and tandir houses often lacks information apart from the price.
