HYDROCARBON SUPPLIES VIA SOUTH CAUCASUS TO BE DOUBLED
    BAKU/02.09.10/TURAN: `Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan have decided to double the supplies of oil and oil derivatives via the South Caucasus Corridor,` SOCAR"s President, Rovnag Abdullayev, stated in Tbilisi. He said the supplies currently total 10 million tons per annum.
     The corridor will be upgraded in its terminals (Kulevi, Poti and Batumi), tanker fleet and infrastructure. Railway oil transportation via Azerbaijan will be increased and up to $1 billion will be invested in this in the coming years. -0--
