In August, Deals on the Curb Made 1.7 Million Manat
In August of this year on the OTC platform was concluded sale and purchase of shares in the total contractual amount of 1,742.4 thousand manat. The transactions involved 842.9 thousand shares.
The share of the financial sector accounts for 642 thousand manat, the production sector - 846,000 AZN, etc.
Information on the volume of OTC transactions for buying and selling securities, according to the rules of the State Committee for Securities of August 2011, is published by the BSE. Dissemination of this information began in January of this year. This information reflects almost all the data on OTC transactions except the names of parties to transactions. Since early March BSE has suddenly suspended the publication of this information. Information of the public resumed in June, but their own rules were not cancled, despite the old rules, which are legal acts. According to the rules of the BSE, little information is provided about the analytical nature of OTC transactions: the total number of shares for the type of profile companies (Finance and Industry) and the total value of trades.
Experts believe that the disregard of the SSC rules by BSE prevents the transparency of information on the securities market in Azerbaijan. -08 -
