In Connection with Formula 1 Banks Move to Enhanced Mode
On the recommendation of the Financial Markets Control House (FMCH) in the forthcoming competition Formula -1 the banks located in the center of Baku and their branches will work in emergency mode. The FMCH press service says that a large tourist flow will be observed during the competition. With this in mind, currency exchange should be possible.
"Services of currency exchange located in the central part of the city along the track and in a recreation area have to organize the work even in non-working days with the extension of working hours," said the chairman of the FMCH Board of Supervisors Rufat Aslanli.
Thirty-four banks and 90 branches and offices in the period from 10 to 21 June will operate from 9.00 am to 21.00 pm. This applies to those located around Baku City Ring and near recreation centers. This is done to provide a large number of foreign guests who will arrive to monitor Formula -1 with banking and foreign currency exchange services.
The following banks and their branches will work for 24 hours, including Saturday and Sunday during the week: the branch Office 24 of Bank Respublika located at 67 Neftchilar Avenue and the Central Branch of Demir Bank located at 111 Nizami Street. They are open to tourists and citizens. ----08D
