Innovation in Azerpoct in Accordance with the Recommendations of the Universal Postal Union
Starting tomorrow, Limited Liability Company "Azerpoct" will start the new technology of remittances to Ukraine. This will be possible thanks to the introduction of the system of money transfers STEFI (Secured Transfer of Electronic Financial Information).
The application of this system will allow the postal operator to carry out technically money transfers for 30 minutes. In addition, there will be less red tape - all transactions will go electronically. Tariffs of the new system will be no higher than the existing rates.
Agreements on the exchange of money transfers by STEFI while signed with Ukraine and Belarus, and the advantage of this system is that an express money transfer, are carried out for half an hour, the recipient is given within three hours. The main financial advantage of the local mail is that the only recipient of income from transfers will be Azerpoct.
The system had to be made in the first quarter of this year, but some technical issues delayed the implementation for September.
In the future, when the number of partner countries to expand significantly, the service will work almost around the clock, if we take into account the time difference between the countries, and that the reduced time removing the balance of settlement to be submitted more than once in 2-3 months and weekly.
System is being implemented in accordance with the recommendations of the International Postal Union, and will be the first in the CIS commissioned in Baku. Immediately after Ukraine, in the case of a successful launch, the local post office for the service will STEFI the implementation of money transfers from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan and Moldova.
LLC Azerpoct also transfers money to Georgia and the United Arab Emirates. - 17D-
