International Donors to Meet in Baku to Support Agriculture
At the invitation of the Ministry of Agriculture, the 3rd coordination meeting of donors will be held in Baku on June 6 with the assistance of the European Union’s Azerbaijan representation.
The press service of the Ministry told Turan the purpose of the meeting is to discuss the ongoing agricultural projects in the country, trends in the agricultural sector and further areas of cooperation.
The donors' meeting will be attended by representatives of over 20 international organizations and communities, including the World Bank, EBRD, UNDP, IFC, the European Investment Bank, the Islamic Development Bank, the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan, the ambassadors of 10 countries, etc.
Currently, the Ministry of Agriculture implements several agricultural projects with financial and credit support of the World Bank, the IDB, and the International Fund for Agricultural Development of the United Nations. ---08D
