Investment Company Increases Market Value of Petkim Shares by 11%
The investment company Ziraat Yatirim has increased the market value of the shares of the Petkim petrochemical holding by 11% - from 4.60 to 5.10 Turkish liras.
The report by Ziraat Yatirim on Petkim Holding shows positive indicators of the holding: ‘Petkim's net profit grew by 27% in the II quarter of 2016 - up to 226.9 million liras, and was higher than the forecasts of Ziraat Yatirim (169 million TL) and the market expectations (153 million TL). Revenues from sales of Petkim in Q2 increased by 2.6%, compared to the same period of 2015, and amounted to 1.18 billion TL. The company’s total income rose by 28.5% to 264.8 million TL. In addition, revenues from other activities increased from 7.1 million TL in the second quarter of last year to 18.2 million TL in the corresponding period this year.’
It is noted that in H1 of 2016 Petkim’s indicators are expected to be higher than in 2015. -0--
