Kaspersky Lab is looking for talent in the CIS
Kaspersky Lab has announced the launch of an updated program of grants for young scientists on a research project in the field of information security.
According to the portal abc.az, now it will be open not only to Russian investigators, but their counterparts in the other CIS countries, in particular from Azerbaijan.
Accepting applications now open, and all grant applicants will be asked to choose to study one of the most pressing challenges in the areas of IT, as the classification of malicious and potentially unwanted programs, methods of detection and analysis of cyber threats, information security in an enterprise environment, content analysis, and security of mobile devices. The authors of the top five, according to the jury, the ideas will be able to implement them with the direct involvement and support of the Kaspersky Lab. For these purposes, the company will provide each winner of 100 thousand rubles for research, will assist the search statistics, and its experts will provide consulting support.
Presentation of finished projects will be held later this year in Moscow. Grant applications are accepted until March 18, 2013 at academy@kaspersky.com.
