Microcredit in July Fell by Almost 10%
The microcredit loan portfolio in Azerbaijan declined in July of this year at $ 67.12 million, or 9.3%, to $ 652.72 million for 352.19 thousand clients. Since the beginning of the year the figure rose by 1%, and for the year - by 11.8 percent. Share of risky loans remained stable, amounting to 3%.
According to the Azerbaijan Microfinance Association (AMFA), the largest creditor to its members remains Accessbank, which accounted for 31.8% of all micro-credit.
Total allowance was based on the 30 organizations involved in microfinance in the country. Their total assets are $ 3.73 billion of microcredit. From the borrowers 26% were women (9% less than at the end of last year).
