As of October 1, the number of labor pensioners is 1,274,342 people.
According to the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF), the majority of them (60.5 %) is women. Almost two- thirds ( 62.2 %) of retirees moved away with respect to age , 27.1 % - for disability and 10.7 % receive compensation due to loss of a breadwinner.
The average pension in Azerbaijan is AZN 170 and the average retirement pension is 187.6 manat. -17D-
