MPs will raise the level of public duties
State fees could be increased. At the meeting of the parliamentary committee on economic policy before the approved draft amendments to the Law of Azerbaijan Republic "On State Duty", adopted in 2001.
According to the head of the Department for Tax Policy and Revenue Finance Jamil Alizadeh, for certain types of state tax service has not changed since the adoption of the document, and therefore there was a need to increase the size of the state fees for certain types of services. It is substantiated by the fact that over the past 11 years have significantly increased the amount of wages in the country, while the inflation rate was 124%.
In 2003, the state revenue from charging state fees amounted to 23 million and in 2011 their volume reached 105 million manats.
According to the plan of the Ministry of Finance, the amendments to the law will deal mainly civil acts, but not production. So, if today filing a lawsuit costs the citizens from 3 to 20 manats (depending on the size of the claims and other parameters), after increasing the sum a suit will cost from 10 to 40 manat. For example, the amount of state tax when applying to the court for dissolution of marriage is 20 manat, with filing claim for division of property at divorce - 40 manat.
Today notarization transfer of property to another person is in Baku 110, in areas 44 manats, in adopting the amendments, it was respectively 200 and 80 manat.
In addition, the size of the registration fee for notarization of transactions for the transfer of ownership of vehicles was 10-50 manats, deals with the social mortgage - 22-55 manats in approving the mortgage contract on usual terms - 44-110 manats.
In addition, the state fee for issuing a driving license and motorcycles is 18 manats, tractors, construction, agricultural, and other vehicles - 5 manat.
"The adoption of these amendments will provide additional revenues to the state budget of Azerbaijan in the amount of AZN 10 million," said Alizadeh.
It is expected that the amendments to the Law of Azerbaijan "On State Duty" will be discussed at a parliamentary meeting on 21 December. - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN.
