NFES mastered a little over 1% of concession lending for this year in January
BAKU/27.01.14/TURAN : The National Fund for Entrepreneurship ( NFES) provided soft loans to entrepreneurs in Yardymly and the surrounding areas.
As reported in the fund , the fund is authorized agents of the 26 business entities were issued loans totaling 2.8 million manat, which in turn will create about 100 new jobs .
Last year in the Lankaran economic zone on the implementation of various investment projects were allocated funds amounting to 21.6 million manat.
NFES was established in 1992 and started active lending in 2002. Issuance of loans to entrepreneurs is arranged by 38 authorized banks and non-banking credit organizations. In 2013, the Fund for the financing of 4,500 investment projects allocated 275 million manat. NFES loans in 2014 are projected at 280 million manat, of which 150 million manat comes from the state budget and the rest will be provided by the return of credits. Thus, the fund has mastered 1.1% ( 3.18 million manat) of the budget in 2014 . - 15D -

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less.
