Number of ICT Grant Applicants Halved
Exactly half of ICT projects have been "rejected" by the State Fund for Development of Information Technologies of Azerbaijan. The final list included 61 of the 121 grant funding applicants.
According to the State Fund’s today's report, projects must comply with criteria such as a clear justification, commercial potential, contribution to the development of local ICT, investment attraction, social and economic significance, relevance and the perspective of innovation, and so on. The final list of candidates will be determined before the end of October.
Recall, the Fund was established by the Head of State on 15 March 2012. The maximum grant possible is AZN 300 thousand, and the minimum is AZN 10 thousand. --17D-
