Privatization Conducted, Taking into Account International Experience
The auctions held from September 14 have sold 111 state-owned property items, as well as the shares of the state in joint stock companies. This was announced at the October 18 meeting of the State Property Committee.
According to the press service of the Committee, from the beginning of the year about 230 small enterprises and facilities, non-residential premises and unfinished objects, and more than 140 land areas under privatized entities have been privatized.
Since July this year, privatization has been conducted based on international experience, with consultants and independent appraisers. ----08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
