Pasha Sigorta to Insure Health of Employees of AIC
Azerbaijan Investment Company (JSC AIC) has determined the insurer under the voluntary health insurance. The tender was won by Pasha Sigorta.
According to the report on the website of the Public Procurement Committee, health insurance of 25 employees will cost the company 11 250 manat.
Recall state-run AIC has a registered capital of 160 million manat and it was established at the expense of SOFAR in March 2006. The purpose of its creation is to promote the development of non-oil sector. The company does not comply with the direction, because they do not publish annual financial statements and audit opinions on them in any media or on the corporate website, so there is no information about its capital resources and dividends from equity.
In 2012, AIC came out of the two projects, in which it had a 25% share (JSC Sangachal Oil and Gas Terminal and JSC Azerbaijani Association of Salt Production). The size of the transactions is not disclosed. In these companies AIC had an investment of $ 9 million and $ 2.9 million, respectively.
The active investment policy of AIC has been suspended since 2011. The company currently has interests in Holcim (Azerbaijan) (10%), Saba (25%), CIIC (24.1%), Milk-Pro (20%), Agstafa Aqrotekhservis (25%), Azertokhum (17.46%), and Baku Shipyard (10%). --17D-
