Preparing a feasibility study for the project launch Azerispace-2
Feasibility Study (FS) of the launch into orbit of the second Azerbaijani telecommunications satellite Azerispace-2 will be available in mid-2014.
As stated in the official website of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan, "the preparation of a feasibility study carried out by a grant from the LLC Azerkosmos by the Trade and Development Agency of the United States. As the project consultant, the American company GlobalResources has been selected."
In addition , LLC Azerkosmos continues to launch low-orbit satellites for Earth observation .
As reported, the launch into orbit of the second telecommunications satellite Azerispace- 2 is scheduled for 2017.
The first telecommunications satellite Azerspace-1 was launched on February 9, 2013 from Kourou (in the northeast of South America in French Guiana). JSC Azerkosmos expects to receive $ 420 million in net profit from the operation of Azerspace- 1. -17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
