Prices for railway transport will be liberalized
The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers amended the list of goods (works and services), prices (tariffs) for which are regulated by the state. The wording “carriage of goods and passengers in the country” was withdrawn from the list. The state JSC "Azerbaijan Railways" defined and revised tariffs for freight transportation in the country, depending on market conditions. And the cost of travel on passenger trains, defined the Tariff (Price) Council of Azerbaijan. Last time the ticket prices were revised in 2011.
