Private Housing Registry to Be Facilitated
The law "On the State Register of real estate" will correspond to the Code of Urban Planning and Construction of Azerbaijan to facilitate the registration of private housing up to 12 meters high.
The owners of private land were supported in the Committee of Milli Mejlis on Economic Policy, Enterprise and Industry. The new version of the law was proposed to the plenary MM session.
The essence of the legislative regime is that housing with a height of less than 12 meters on a private plot of land is registered on the basis of a single document confirming the land ownership.
Recall, the Urban Planning Code entered into force on 1 January 2013. --17D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less.
