Bureau of Compulsory Insurance (BCI) in January-November last year paid compensation to 65 victims and families of those killed in road accidents totaling 220,676 manat.
Last compensation in the amount of 5,000 manat was paid the day before in connection with the death of a man in a car accident on July 13, 2013 on the territory of the Khazar district of Baku - the press release of the Bureau reads. Compensation paid to the family of the deceased non-cash (by mail).
BCI is acting within the law "On compulsory types of insurance" and brings together contributions and deposits of 15 local insurers. Its main purpose is compensation, certain financial fund management, through which you will be compensated.
Its financial stability is based on an entrance fee, security deposit for each type of compulsory insurance and 5% of the total premiums for compulsory companies - members of the Bureau.
The membership fee is 200,000 manat.
The size of a single deposit for the members of the Bureau on compulsory insurance of the property is 100,000 manat; compulsory insurance of liability of owners of real estate - 100 thousand manat; compulsory motor insurance of vehicle owners (CTP) - 200,000 manat; compulsory insurance of passengers - 200,000 manat; compulsory insurance and disability of individuals from accidents and occupational diseases in the production - 100,000 manat. --17D-
