Shortened registration of legal entities to 1 day
On December 29th in Azerbaijan entered into force new requirements on terms of state registration of commercial legal entities and representative offices and branches of foreign commercial entities.
According to the agreement on December 28 decree of President Ilham Aliyev on the application of the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan " On State Registration and State Register of Legal Entities", the term of registration of commercial legal entities, branches and representative offices of foreign commercial entities cannot exceed 2 day. Earlier this period could not exceed three days.
State registration of limited liability investment in local emergency electronic registration is urgent, in the conventional electronic registration - no later than 1 day.
Since February 2012 the Ministry of Taxes shall electronically register a limited liability company (LLC) local investment. Taxes Ministry does not report the number of companies benefiting from this opportunity. In Azerbaijan, the company is produced primarily in the legal form of LLC.
It should be noted that the registration of non-profit legal entities and representative offices and branches of foreign non-profit legal entities ( non-governmental organizations , civil society organizations and foundations, religious communities , the media, educational institutions) defined 40 -day period . However, if necessary, this period may be extended for another 30 days. Nevertheless, many NGOs complain that the Ministry of Justice refuses to provide state registration without any legal grounds.- 08B-
