SSC released data on the state of the securities market for three quarters
For the nine months of 2012 the volume of the securities market in Azerbaijan increased by a third to 8.2 billion manats. This is said in a public statement by the State Securities Committee report on the state securities market during this period of the year. Market developed on the background of "growth rate of raising finance from the capital market and conservation policy-digit inflation."
Securities market volume for the nine months was 41% of GDP. The primary market of securities amounted to 1.4 bn, up 11% over the comparable period of 2011.
The main part of securities market (7.3 bn or 89%) accounted for transactions with government securities. The operations with government securities increased 40%. The share of repurchase and reverse repurchase transactions amounted to 88% of the government securities market.
Significantly (3.3 times) increased the rates on shares (3.96 bn). The volume of the primary market shares for the nine months increased by 3.8 times, while the secondary market - 63%.
Despite the impressive performance securities are not the main instrument of investment in the economy of Azerbaijan. The main players in the market are still state-owned companies, which are directed to increase their capital, public investment, as well as banks and insurance companies. - 08D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN.
