Starts a new stage of informatization of the education system
Starting next year, will start the next stage of the Education System project.
As the Minister of Education of Azerbaijan Misir Mardanov said, the document has been submitted to the Government for consideration and approval. The new milestone of information schools will last 7 years.
The minister said that about 80,000 teachers (50% of teachers), having passed the literacy courses on information technology, received certificates. For every 20 students, there is one desktop PC. Almost all schools of the capital have access to the Internet. In this direction Azerbaijan is ahead of many countries in the world, said the minister.
The downside is that not all teachers of computer science in secondary schools have university specialization, but over time the number of certified teachers in ICT will increase. - 17D-
