Tax Revenues Decreased by 4.5%
In the ten month of 2016 the Ministry of Taxes transferred to the state budget 5 billion 707.1 million manat, which is 263.1 million manat or 4.5% less than in the same period last year, according to a press release from the Ministry of Taxes.
From the oil and gas sector it collected AZN 4 billion 310.8 million - AZN 247.4 million more than in January-October 2015.
During this period, Azerbaijan registered more than 105 thousand taxpayers. In January-October 2015 the registration covered 65.3 thousand new taxpayers.
The forecast target of the Taxes for the current year is $ 7 billion 10 million manat. And the plan for 2017 to collect taxes has been increased by 200 million manat. ---08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
